I\u2019ve worked in a wide variety of tech-related roles since 2000. Working at scale-up companies in Amsterdam and London, I was fortunate to experience up close the excitement of the dot-com boom and bust. Since then, I\u2019ve taken on senior assignments at ABN-AMRO, T-Mobile, Strokeplay.nl (my own venture), Online.nl, VodafoneZiggo and Brenntag. Technology and Innovation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since 2011 I\u2019ve managed teams that became synonymous with innovation, technology and change, and in that time, I\u2019ve seen some incredible transformations. At UPC, the customer experience underwent an almost completely digital revolution. After the acquisition of Ziggo and the merger with Vodafone, this digital transformation became one of the dominant drivers of the company\u2019s long-term strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2017 I took on the role of founding manager of a corporate startup in the chemical industry. In less than four years this startup saw some great successes \u2013 driven by the influence of technology on the customer experience and the extraordinary impact that this had on the backend systems of the mother company. This initial startup grew into a global organization that now employs more than 100 people, with a presence in almost 50 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
